Formulation Capabilities

FACILITY

HAVN Labs is currently in the development of our first psilocybin grow in Jamaica and will operate from a state-of-the-art research facility in Vancouver.

BUILDING A PSYCHEDELIC SUPPLY CHAIN

We aim to build a psychedelic supply chain for researchers. By isolating and identifying the compounds present in psychedelic mushrooms, we can begin to research and understand the therapeutic potential of these compounds.

FORMULATION CAPABILITIES

HAVN Life has already completed analytical work under our Health Canada exemption, which allowed for the research and development of analytical protocols for psilocybin extraction. The exemption allowed us to conduct this research prior to securing Licensed Dealer status.

HAVN is actively pursuing Licensed Dealer status that will permit the supply and sale of regulated psychedelic compounds.

HAVN Labs is working with veterans and PTSD groups across North America to develop strategic evidence based treatment protocols and optimize formulations to study mental well being.

Currently global access to research informed formulations is limited. Those who are studying psychedelics in research studies and academia rely on products that are developed ad hoc for each project. HAVN Labs will provide the standardized psychedelic compound formulations for academic institutions with isolates and extractions from our facility that will be utilized for clinical trials and as APIs for product.

WHY

VETERANS

Two-thirds of Canadian military personnel with PTSD do not respond completely to the best available evidence-based therapies, according to a 2018 study.  Suicide risk is also higher in Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Veterans than the Canadian general population. That is why we are working closely with veterans’ organizations like the Westwood Institute and Heroic Hearts Project to provide funding for support services and low-dosage psilocybin for future veteran studies.

WORKING WITH

VETERANS & SCIENTISTS

Preparing for a clinical trial, our Phase 1 research will examine Veterans current use and perceptions of psilocybin for mental health disorders.

HAVN Labs is working with the Veterans Friendly Campus Initiative at The University of British Columbia. Where veterans can take leadership in creating protocols and best use processes by participating in studies of alternative medicines. HAVN has entered into an agreement with the Institute for Veterans Education and Transition at The University of British Columbia to launch a research project starting in late 2020.
